Does God Have A Dog?
Answering the doubt : Does God have a dog?
A Christian says :
Does anyone know what kind of dog this is? Aren't you afraid that God's dog will eat you? Beware lest God's dog eat you. Aren't you afraid that God will set His dog on you? O God, set one of Your dogs on him. Bishr told us, he said: Yazid told us, he said: Saeed told us, on the authority of Qatada, {And by the star when it goes down - your companion has neither strayed nor has he gone astray} He said: Utbah ibn Abi Lahab said: You have disbelieved in the Lord of the star, so the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Do you not fear that the dog of Allah will eat you?” He said: So he went out on a trade trip to Yemen, and while they had camped, he heard The voice of the lion, so he said to his companions, I am being eaten, so they surrounded him, and he was struck on their ears and they slept, then he came until he took him, and they heard nothing but his voice
In response I say:
First : If the Christian observes the hadiths that he mentioned, he will find the following in each hadith :
He said: So he went out on a trade trip to Yemen, and while they had settled down, he heard the voice of a lion , so he said to his companions: I am going to be eaten.
Ibn Abi Lahab went out with some people on a journey, until when they were on some of the road they heard the voice of a lion , so he said: He only wants me.
Hubbar said: I was with them and we camped in a land with many lions. He said: I saw the lion come and start sniffing the heads of the people one by one until he crossed over to Utbah and cut off his head from among them.
If " God's dog " means lion, and it was the Arabs' custom to liken the lion to " God's dog ", I do not know where the vague thing is here?
Second : Does the addition mean specification?? In the sense that “ God’s dog ” means that God has a dog of his own??
No , because everything in this world belongs to God Almighty, but the addition is to glorify Him, because of the lion’s strength and boldness, just as we say “ God’s she-camel .” Does this mean that God has a she-camel???
Third : We quote the words of the dictionaries so that we can cut off all paths for them .
The evidence that the dog of God = the lion is to see the meaning of lion in the language: Dog = every seven bit-ches lion = seven The result is clear God 's dog = lion ** This is a very simple response to a trivial topic that Christians have been spreading for mockery .
